Lowry

From lowry.org

Once a working Air Force base in Denver, Colorado, Lowry transformed into a forward-thinking, mixed-use community. The idea behind Lowry was to take an existing urban area, give it new life and avoid adding to the problem of urban sprawl. That dream is now a reality. In fact, Lowry has been so successful that it received the Governor's Award for Smart Growth and has become a model community for urban-infill projects across the country.

Lowry is a community committed to the environment. In fact, the very idea behind Lowry was to avoid contributing to suburban sprawl by redeveloping a former Air Force base in the heart of Denver. It was not a simple task, but we knew it was an important one. From recycling old runways into new streets and addressing military cleanup issues to relocating old trees, we're taking great care with all of our efforts.

At Lowry, you'll find more than the office parks and strip malls of the suburbs. You'll find a carefully planned, urban community where office space, retail services, employee housing, recreational and educational partners all work together.

This unique, mixed-use community is designed for people who want the of a new development without changing congressional districts. As an urban-infill project, Lowry has created a diverse community that's close to the culture and excitement of the city. And within Lowry, you'll find a collection of dwellings and businesses as diverse as the people who live here. With so many options, you can find the home you want with the city just outside your door.
